The Lambeth Walk Group Practice doctor’s surgery was originally built by the Council as the new Lambeth Baths, opening in 1958 to replace the 1897 building destroyed by a V2 rocket during World War II. They provided the public with baths and a laundry, but with falling demand closed and were converted to their current use in the 1990s.
