The Royal Coat of Arms was given to a previous owner, a Mr Herring, in 1835. He was renowned as a dealer in &#8216;wild and fancy&#8217; animals, birds and fish, and had a private zoo in the garden. He supplied William IV with golden pheasants and Queen Victoria with goldfish for Buckingham Palace.
