Now, however, Banksy’s art attracts popular acclaim as well as high prices at auction, resulting in several city councils (notably Islington, Bristol and Melbourne) attempting to preserve their Banksy artworks.The Festival, which ran from 3rd-5th May, was organised by Pictures on Walls and Blank Expression with the permission of the British Rail Residuary Board and Department of Transport.
