The Newport Street Gallery from Old Paradise Street, Lambeth, was built by Caruso St John Architects for the artist Damien Hirst and opened in October 2015. The \u00c2\u00a325million project added flanking wings to several Victorian theatrical scenery workshops used by Hirst since 2002 as studios, creating a 37,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art gallery to exhibit works from the artist’s collection of over 2,000 artworks.
