STREATHAM RECTORY, TOOTING BEC GARDENS, STREATHAM CENTRAL

Streatham Rectory in Prentis Road, adjacent to St Leonard's church. It was in the library here that Lord John Russell drafted the 1832 Reform Bill when staying with his brother Wriothesley, the then rector. This building demolished in 1907 and replaced by a church hall and new rectory. The new rectory building was subsequently pulled down in 1972.
