St Michael's Convent, Park Hill, formerly the property of Henry Tate, the sugar magnate (Tate and Lyle), who lived here from1885. A philanthropist who built the Tate Libraries in Brixton, South Lambeth and Streatham and art collector who established the Tate Gallery in London.
