Vauxhall Gardens, Vauxhall. Firework display over the pictorial model of the Temple of Honan of the Three Golden Isles. In the sky the figure of Joel II Diavolo seen making his descent on a single wire amidst fireworks. The pleasure gardens are now marked by Tyers Street and Spring Gardens, renamed Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens in 2012.Engraving from a contemporary periodical, June 13th 1816.
