LONDON EYE (MILLENNIUM WHEEL), SOUTH BANK, WATERLOO

The London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel, Jubilee Gardens, South Bank. Seen in the process of construction in June 1999, it is one of the world's largest Ferris Wheels. Designed by architects David Marks and Julia Barfield, for the Millennium 2000 celebrations. The Shell Building seen in the background to the left and The London Aquarium and Hotel, previously the London County Hall, on the right.
