SURREY CRICKET GROUND, OVAL, KENNINGTON : HANDBILLS

Surrey Cricket Ground, The Oval. Handbills of two matches played in 1858. The County of Surrey against All England on July 22nd, and Married of England against Single of England on August 9th. The Surrey County Cricket Club was formed in in 1845. The players include F.P.Miller who was the Surrey captain in the early 1850s, and F.Burbridge who was captain from 1858 to 1865.
