Surrey Cricket Ground, The Oval. Handbills of two matches played in 1859. The County of Surrey against 16 of Oxford on July 7th, and Surrey against Kent and Sussex on August 8th. The Surrey County Cricket Club was formed in in 1845. The players include F.P.Miller who was the Surrey captain in the early 1850s, and F.Burbridge who was captain from 1858 to 1865.
