Frederic Doulton, a member of Doulton Pottery family. He retired from the pottery business after being elected as a MP for the Borough of Lambeth in 1862. Before 1832 the Borough of Lambeth had no representation in Parliament, except as part of County of Surrey. 'Electorial History of the Borough of Lambeth'.
