Interior showing the auditorium at Canterbury Theatre, one of London's most famous music halls, established in 1849 by Charles Morton. Rebuilt in 1867. This beautiful building was opened on 23rd September, 1876, to an exceedingly fashionable, enthusiactic and numerous audience. The theatre survived until it was bombed in World War II.
