POLICE STATION, STREATHAM HIGH ROAD, STREATHAM CENTRAL

The first police station in Streatham was built in 1865. With the suburban growth of the area a new station was built in place of the earlier building in 1912. Next to the station can be seen the Thrale Almshouses built in 1832 by Hester and Henry Thrale. These were demolished during the 1930's.
