PUPILS OF STREATHAM SCHOOL, STREATHAM COMMON

Pupils of Streatham School, one of the established older academies in Streatham. The school opened in 1786 in grounds facing Streatham Common. It was demolished in 1925 and replaced by shops and flats. A small window visible through the window on the right was one of three that overlooked Barrow Road, then called Baker's Lane.
