CEDARS, CLAPHAM COMMON NORTH SIDE, CLAPHAM

Cedars Terraces were designed by J T Knowles Jnr and built by Henry Harris in 1860 on either side of Cedars Road, facing Clapham Common. They are named after the mansion that stood on this site, and were the gateway to Knowles' Park Town development. This view from the common, taken on 14th February 1966.
