Cedars Terraces were designed by J T Knowles Jnr and built by Henry Harris in 1860 on either side of Cedars Road, facing Clapham Common. They are named after the large house that stood on this site, and were the gateway to Knowles Park Town development. This view taken on 14th February 1966, shows the distinctive embellishment to the balconies and tops of windows, and the French Renaissance roof.
