View looking across to Bleak Hall Farm from the top of Brixton Hill. New Park Road was previously called Bleak Hall Lane and in the middle ages was known as Balams Lane, the way to Balham. The farm stood on the corner of New Park Road and Lyam Road. The windmill stood by a short lane called in Mill Lane and now called Moorish Road.
