BROCKWELL HALL, BROCKWELL PARK, HERNE HILL

Brockwell Hall, Brockwell Park, Herne Hill, built in 1811 -1813. Originally the country seat of John Blades Esq., a city glass merchant, it was acquired together with 78 acres of land by the County Council in March 1891 for a public park, and is now the offices of the Lambeth Parks Department.
