A Coronation tea was provided for about 80 children to celebrate the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. It was organised by Mr. Redgewell and Mrs. Watford. Each child received a Coronation medal, and a souvenir cup and saucer.From The Times & Advertiser. 21st May 1937.
