The Old English Garden in Brockwell Park, on the site of the old walled kitchen garden which had been part of the grounds of Brockwell Hall. The Hall and surrounding land was bought by the County Council in 1891 and the park (albeit much smaller than the current park), opened a year later. Postcard.
