Dick Sheppard School, the L.C.C. secondary school for girls opened in Tulse Hill in September 1955. Considered to be a modern school with all the latest equipment, this view shows the art class in progress. The school was closed down in 1994 and the site redeveloped for private housing. Photograph published in a contemporary journal, c.1955.
