Inset from the Magnet Newspaper, published 13th February 1965. The first editor, Jan Carew, was an established author and articles published included contributions from other black authors and journalists of a high calibre. However, the paper, like other journals of specific interest to the black community that had been started at the time, ceased publication within a few years.
