Memorial Hall taken in July 1929. The Memorial Hall celebrates the life of the founder, Charles Haddon Spurgeon, a Baptist preacher and the minister of the Metropolitan Tabernacle. The Memorial was aligned at right-angles to the original boys' dining hall which purpose it retained as well as providing an excellent assembly hall for worship and other communal activities.
