Team Lambeth excellence Award, November 12 1998, in the parlour of the Mayor at the Town Hall. The lady presenting the cheque is Ms Rosemarie King. The contribution is for the Mayor's two charities which she supported: The Sophie Centre in Streatham for children of pre-school age which also caters for children with learning difficulties, and the other was Family and Friends in Brixton, a centre for working parents with children, where grandparents and relatives often act as carers when children are waiting for parents to collect them after school.
