Flight Sgt. John Volrath, RAF, of Squadron 148, was based in Brindisi during World War II, flew Halifaxes and was chiefly employed in dropping supplies and SOE agents throughout occupied eastern Europe, including Poland and Rumania.Photograph donated by Mr.Volrath, now a resident of Streatham, Lambeth.
