Ladies charabanc outing (Beano), from the Milkwood Tavern, which stood at the corner of Milkwood Road and Heron Road. The houses on the top left can still be seen, but the public house, seen on the right, has since been demolished. These ladies were all from families who lived nearby and used the Milkwood Tavern as their local pub.Digital copy donated by Mrs Ellen Barbet, daughter of one of the ladies in the photograph.
