A Christmas party for the residents of St Alphonsus Road, Clapham, in St Anne's church hall, Venn Street. These parties were held in the Hall reguarly in the late 1940s and early 1950s. St Alphonsus Road was mainly rented accommodation with each house divided into two flats, many lived in by 'extended' families.
