OLYMPIC MEDAL, LOS ANGELES

A medal from the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games found at the Berlin Olympic Stadium by Ernest Dare in 1945 at the end of World War II. Mr Dare was initially involved with the clearing of mines from the beaches of Northern France and advanced into Germany where he was assigned to the post of Chief Electrician at Spandau and the Agatha Hospital.Digital image by kind permission of Mrs M Dare.
