Looking south along Bishop's Walk towards the premises of Lawrence's the coal merchants with Vauxhall Bridge in the back ground and Lambeth Palace on the left. Bishop's Walk was swept away with the building of the Albert Embankment in 1866-70.Ink and wash drawing by 'Thompson the scene painter'.
