‘COMPTON’, PENDENNIS ROAD, STREATHAM

'Compton' was designed by the architect Norman Shaw in 1873. It was owned from 1947-63 by Basil Greenfield, who was the owner of the New Croydon Rubber Company, 36 Mitcham Lane.
