Imperial Wine Off Licence, Hercules Road, Lambeth, was originally built as a public house and is now a popular café. The neighbouring house was originally part of a Georgian terrace in Lambeth Road, partially destroyed by the building of the adjacent railway into Waterloo. The National School for Boys, formerly on the site of the warehouse to the right, suffered a similar fate with the widening of the railway.Photograph by Sam Lambert.
