The Central Office of Information (left) was established in 1946 to replace the wartime Ministry of Information. It has been responsible for public service campaigns such as; Coughs and Sneezes Spread Diseases, Keep Britain Tidy, Green Cross Man, AIDS and Back the Bid - for the 2012 London Olympics.Photograph by Sam Lambert.
