Large derelict mid-Victorian detached houses on Loughborough Park Road. The villas were built on land used for market gardens from the 1840s onwards after the landowner, Lady Holland, granted leases to developers. About half were demolished by Lambeth Council for the building of the Moorlands Estate and others were restored. The surviving houses are now listed Grade II.Photograph by Sydney Newbery
