Brockwell Hall in Brockwell Park, Herne Hill. The Hall was built from 1811-1813 as the country seat of John Blades Esq., a city glass merchant. In 1891 it was acquired together with 78 acres of land by the London County Council for use as a public park, and is now the offices of the Lambeth Parks Department.
