The Cramer Accordion Band rehearsing in Cramer's Music Shop, 4a Acre Lane, Brixton. The band was one of three bands associated with the shop originally formed in early 1935 and reflecting the popularity of accordians in the 1930s. They performed at many venues across London but disbanded at the outbreak of World War II. J.B.Cramer & Co Ltd., were originally pianoforte manufacturers.
