AERIAL VIEW, LAMBETH BRIDGE OPENING

An aerial view of the opening ceremony for Lambeth Bridge taken from above looking west towards Westminster. The bridge was designed by the chief engineer Sir George Humphreys, Sir Reginald Bloomfield and G.Topham Forrest. Building work begun in 1929 and the bridge was officially opened by King George VI in 1932.
