A mural on the wall of the Brixton Black Women's Centre, 41a Stockwell Green, on the Stockwell/ Brixton borders, seen here from Combermere Road. The centre was used as a meeting place for several black women's groups, notably the Brixton Black Women's Group begun in 1973 to tackle issues regarding racial and sexual repression.Photograph dated 20th August 1986.
