De la Garde Grissell family tomb in Norwood Cemetery, West Norwood. Henry (1817-83) and Martin de la Garde Grissell (1820-1904) were proprietors of the Regent's Canal Ironworks. The firm constructed bridges for Robert Stephenson; gates and railings for Buckingham Palace and the British Museum; ironwork for the Royal Opera House, the Floral Hall and Houses of Parliament, as well as casting the earliest London letter boxes.
