Mausoleum of Otto Alexander Berens (c.1797-1860) a Prussian-born dealer of fancy goods who lived at Raleigh Hall in Brixton. His ornate mausoleum was built by Edward Barry at a cost of £1,500 and is one of the finest High Victorian monuments in Britain. Barry succeeded his father Charles in 1860, and was responsible for completing the Houses of Parliament. Photograph by Eric de Mare
