PRATT WEDDING, ST MARY’S, LAMBETH PALACE ROAD, LAMBETH

The wedding of Louisa Marks and Dennis Pratt held at St Mary's, Lambeth Palace Road on 3rd September 1944. It was unsual for a wedding to be held on a Sunday, but the couple were given special permission due to the ongoing war and he being enlisted in the navy. He lived in Ethelred Street and his bride came from Millcote Street, Southwark. Left to right: Marie Copes (bridesmaid), George Marks, Dennis Pratt (groom), Louisa Marks (bride), Edward Marks, Rose Marks (bridesmaid).
