Nicky Chapman, manager of the Queen Anne public house in Vauxhall Walk. London's most historic stripper's pub began providing adult entertainment in 1959. Nicky was for 18 years a teacher of children with special needs, and initially employed on the door before becoming manager 2 years ago. It is unusual in adult entertainment to have a venue run by women. Pole dancing was introduced in the 1990s and the Queen Anne celebrated its 50th anniversary as a venue in 2009.Digital image by kind permission of Enzo Peccinotti.
