Streatham-born supermodel Naomi Campbell modelling clothes from Julien MacDonald's 2007 Winter Collection at the Park Lane Hilton during London Fashion Week. She was educated at the Dunraven School in Streatham and the Italia Conti Academy. Her discovery happened at the age of 15 when out shopping in Covent Garden and she soon began full-time modelling, notable for being the first black cover girl of Vogue Paris and Vogue UK. However, in 2009 she was quoted as saying 'You know, the American president may be black, but as a black woman, I am still an exception in this business. I always have to work harder to be treated equally.'Digital image by kind permission of Enzo Peccinotti.
