KENNINGTON CROSS, KENNINGTON

View of Kennington Cross looking south-west along Kennington Lane towards Imperial Court and the gasometers. The black corner building was the home of artist and writer Philip Core (1951-1989) who created a distinctive black interior to match. The 'Triangle' area is now occupied by several estate agents and restaurants. Watercolour by Roberta Hart, dated 1974.  Ref. LP13/170/KEN.L.2
