ST ANSELM’S CHURCH, KENNINGTON LANE, KENNINGTON

Interior of St Anselm's church, Kennington Lane, Kennington. The church was first designed in 1911 by Adshead & Ramsay, but not completed until 1932-33 with the planned dome not executed. The high altar at the far end has a 'baldacchino' above creating a canopy and the abstract murals flanking the nave date from 1971, painted by Norman Adams. Photograph by Sam Lambert
