The Wellington public house in Waterloo Road, adjacent and beneath Waterloo East Station. This pub was rebuilt and enlarged in 1918 incorporating the Lord Hill, the portion seen here, which was originally built in 1891 as a hostelry. Behind on the right is the recently-built Union Jack Club. Town Planning photograph by Sam Lambert.
