A spiral emergency exit staircase on the exterior elevation of Lambeth Towers in Lambeth Road. In 1964 Lambeth Council approved the construction of Lambeth Towers as 'a mixed development of housing, group practice, Registrars' Office, old people's luncheon club and shops', however the building was not completed until 1971.Photograph by Sam Lambert
