MONUMENTAL BRASS BY WILLIAM WALLER OF LAMBETH

A photograph of a large monumental brass designed by John Green Waller and executed by his brother William Augustus Waller of Lambeth, measuring 8' x 3'. 'Now decorates the chancel floor of St Raphael Home Chapel, Torquay'. The brass was originally created for the Great Exhibition of 1851 and awarded the 'Highest Diploma and Medal'. William Waller also wrote 'an authoritative work on monumental brasses'.
