BROCKWELL PARK EXTENSION, HERNE HILL

The Brockwell Park extension, looking towards Dulwich Road entrance. The 42½ acre extension was purchased in 1902 at a cost of £1,600 per acre (total £64,000) from the Blackburn Trustees. The building on the left is probably the two semi-detached houses off Dulwich Road which were subsequently demolished.From 'The London Argus', 7th March 1903.
