The schools of St Mary-the-Less in Black Prince Road, Lambeth, were designed byJohn Pearson to accommodate 700 children and built at a cost of £3,365. The foundation stone was laid by the Prince of Wales on 27th June 1860.Engraving from Illustrated London News, dated 23rd March 1861.
