CANTERBURY MUSIC HALL, UPPER MARSH, LAMBETH

A small 'plan shewing the proposed additions to Canterbury Hall for Mr Charles Morton', drawn by Samuel Field, architect and surveyor, dated 15th May 1858. The additions include a Singers' Waiting Room with lavatory. Featured also on the plan are the Picture Hall and Canterbury Arms public house. Mr Morton's picture collection included paintings by Sir Peter Lely, Mr Earle and Mr A.J. Lewis.From Drainage Records.
